A lot of great PL sides were built off the back of ‘top’ sides buying the best players from the division from other clubs. Cole, Yorke, Campbell, Cantona, Ferdinand, Carrick, Tevez, Rooney, Berbatov, Van Persie etc. PL started losing recipes when the likes of Bale went abroad. He should’ve gone to Man U or Chelsea the first time he won Player of the Year. Go out buy the best the PL has to offer is a good strategy. I don’t think he ends up at Arsenal though. Checko Posted January 13 Share Posted January 13 Isak's now a world class striker in the beginning of his peak period. Realistically this summer or next he'll be making a big decision as to where he wants to play his career-defining years. Financials aside I'm sure he'll want to be challenging for league titles and trophies. Hopefully we continue to do well and he feels he can do it with us. The key thing is salary. We've finished above Man U once in the history of the PL - thanks to Isak. We've not finished above Arsenal in the league for how many years?
