I think he's relatively similar to Rashford actually, although maybe better playing centrally than off the left. Also arguably better natural movement off the ball.

Much more mature movement at ST than Rashford.

The comparison is Titi The Great. What he needs is his Bergkamp. Someone with his ability and wave length. Isak would kill alongside an Odegaard.

Agree about a Bergkamp. But then again, couldn’t everyone do with a Bergkamp ?

His build is quite unique for the position, he really is slim, when you see him live it’s very noticeable, his legs are tiny

But his strides are huge.

"I want to clear this up: Isak is fit to play 90 minutes for another team — but just not to my style of play and what I demand. It was no slight on him — he’s very fit.

Not sure what to make of this quote or what Isak is meant to make of it.

I don't think its unreasonable at all. If you look at how we played 2nd half of last season versus how we play this season, it took the squad as a whole months to get fit enough to play Howe's way. Isak's only been here since the summer and missed a decent chunk with injury so not surprised it's taking time to get him up to speed.

He hated every single question

Really hate the (very common) ”HOW big/difficult was that win/loss/goal?” Just waiting for a manager coming out with a random number.

Remember when Gabriel Clarke used to sign off his interviews with England managers and players with 'England expects' as if he was Cleric in the fucking Ministry of Football?

Never liked that lipless freak like, proper creep.

As long as he stays fit he'll get fully up to speed but we've all seen the quality in him. He seems to have it all and considering Isak's only played a handful of games it's remarkable how good he's actually come on in that short space of game time he's had.

I can't wait for him to have a proper rip at goal at home with that right foot cannon of his that we know he's capable of scoring.

Few times yesterday where he had shots blocked cutting in from the left, really looked like he was gonna bury them.

Can't wait until he has players around him that can make better use of his give and goes. The last attempt at a pass by Longstaff, man
