We all know that is exactly what’s going to happen, and I feel the same way. It’s borderline cheating

I can't even bear the thought of our PIF overlords bailing out another one of our rivals again, this time giving them funds for a complete flop which enables them to either nab our top target from under our nose our poach our best player in generations.

All in the name of Nunez scoring 15 goals a season for al-Hoogifsahfuq in front of about 600 people whilst earning 500k a week.

The Saudi league brought in Ronaldo, Neymar, Benzema amongst others in about 6 months and no one gave a fuck, Nunez won't be the one to shift the dial for that pishy wankville of a league

Has our Chairman not indicated that Isak is his favourite and is not for sale - I would imagine scouseland will not be very popular with KSA. Additionally I expect a firm but polite "Do One".

Yes!

Could be a factor on Isak/Ekitike if true?

I'm convinced they need to sell him to afford Isak so I pray PIF don't hand them a Get Out of Jail free card.

Like we could have for Guehi.....did he kick off ?

I think he might have if it had been Liverpool bidding for him. We weren't a champions league team at the time and hadn't just won a cup like we have now.

Newcastle of last summer coming in for you is not the same as the Liverpool this summer with all the added weight of the squad they are assembling and being current premier league champions and probably favourites going in to this season to win it again.

I wish it wasn't the case, but at this point in our journey they are a step up from us..atleast in the eyes of professional players.

But hopefully, the connection he has built with the club will buy us atleast another season from him and then alot can happen between now and next summer and his mindset could change....or psr could be abolished :kurt:

I’ve alway thought he’ll stay this season and sign a new deal that gives him a reasonable exit clause next summer. He gets a bump in pay and we get a chance to prove why he should stay further by what we achieve next year. If he wants to go we still get a massive wedge.

I really don’t think if we’d went so hard on Ekitike over the last few days we would have had this Isak news today.  I’ve read Liverpool are so “relaxed” over their summer business and wouldn't make any moves until further outgoings are made - which seem to be nowhere near.  Then coincidentally all of a sudden they’ve  made an enquiry and seemingly immediately leaked it to disrupt us and potentially turn Isak’s head

Well summed up. My hope is he realises how important he is for the club for CL and potentially re-qualifying for the CL and gives us another season with the sweetener of a new contract to keep him sweet.

Not the same but still a step up to a club headed that way.

My worry is if he gets turned much like Gordon last season.

Gordon signed a new contract 2 months after that FWIW. And he’s a Liverpool fan born in Liverpool

I don't see Isak as the type to get his head turned.

It seems like the shills in the media have been touting their darling teams to prise him off us since he got here, he's no stranger to speculation.

He also knows his worth and he also knows that the harder he works and the better he performs for us the more money he'll get when he eventually moves, this isn't a Gordon situation where last summer may have been the only chance his boyhood team were willing to take a chance on him.

Yeah it's not rocket science. They (the top six) are doing anything in their power to stop the Newcastle juggernaut! And I mean anything. The top six tried to fuck off remember to the Promised Land. AND the Premier League management actually thought it was a good idea. We MUST take these corrupt fuckers on. Either legally or illegally.

Fair point.

Looks like a round trip from Innsbruck to Greece to Liverpool and back to Innsbruck in a day.

Am I only 1 that wants a club PIF to take Nunez, after we have signed Ekitike of course. Then, when Liverpool come in for Isak because they have more money they still tell then to fuck off..X
