I think the fans unanimously would have wished him well but his timing to demand it now is totally selfish. Eddie made him what he is today- that's just a fact.

I think this is pretty harsh/bullshit given we don't know what's gone on behind the scenes. We do know he's been told on multiple occasions he is getting a new deal, only for the club to not offer him one. To be honest, even this he has done in a way that hasn't entirely fucked us. He hasn't let it be known he wants to join Liverpool, which would hurt/killed our negotiation stance, just that he wants to explore a move.

Elanga. A couple of years younger. Assume they now earn similar money. That’s taking the piss.

That makes no sense. Elanga had a really good season and we needed to attract him to sign. Isak agreed his wages when he signed his contract. Nobody has an obligation to never pay another player decent money. Nonsense.

I reckon the way the club handles Isak here will really clarify what the people running this club (whoever they are) are made of.

Sit back and enjoy the ride folks.

In Suds we trust

Surprised to see him wanting to leave right after we signed Elanga, but not surprised to see him leave in general. The guy is ice cold and aren't going to let whatever feelings he has for us get in the way. He wants to play for the best, and we clearly aren't there yet considering how things have been going this summer.

Only if we weren't going to offer Isak an improved deal. Which is unlikely.

I'm bracing for a Yasir smackdown TBH, just hope it doesn't go too far.

Offer Isak a year of 1tb cloud storage or something?

Get him a Sim only deal, sort out a broadband package and Apple TV subscription. Suds will come in clutch and save us on this one

Chelsea and their cheat code again. Oh no, it’s actually partly PiF money from the CWC.

Nice that its a tournament Liverpool didn't qualify for, probably because we took their CL place two seasons ago.

Some Liverpool fans think they knocked the CWC back themselves out of some kind of nobility. ;D

I'd take Chalobah, a development forward, Delap or Nkunku, for Eddie to work with, and some wedge, preferably enough for Wissa and Gallagher. Buy Trafford too if there's anything left in the kitty. We must buy Wissa now we need guaranteed goals.

He can want what he likes but sometimes it's not possible due to a contract you have already agreed. He should've been good enough for Liverpool to buy him when he came to England.

Is one argument

Ok and now Isak has refused to travel.

We will either pay him the money he deserves or sell him in August.

Isak should have had a new contract same time as Gordon.  We wouldn’t be in this position now.

He wants more money, fair enough. But we were discussing how much it had to do with Elanga's salary, which is nothing.

If he refused to travel then that's inexcusable and makes him look even worse.

Do you think every player at the clubs pay should be readjusted every time a new player  comes in ?

At least this has united the board, everyone’s fucked off. Can’t help but be massively pissed off at Isak. We don’t know what’s gone on behind the scenes in terms of negotiations over the offer but ultimately he doesn’t want to play for us despite us making it into the CL and without there being any major suitors other than Liverpool in the picture with three years left on his contract. Makes me feel sick

Think he will get his move, its best for us. Having him stay now can't be good for team morale.

Will put on in a great position to build the squad(if we can get any fucking transfers done that is).

Minimum £140-150m though.
