I know it wont happen but id absolutely love an actual statement from YAR on this saying hes not for sale under any circumstance and hes instructed the club they cannot sell him.

It is about time we had a direct quote from PIF on the matter rather than another journalist making statements without naming a source. If I was Eddie Howe I would make it very clear that I would have to consider my position at the club if Isak was sold before a replacement was bought.

We have had some terrible owners in the past but bar Ashley they would certainly have come out fighting in the press making it very clear he is going nowhere unless it is in our interests to sell.

Personally I don’t think they have made it clear, all we have is what journalists are saying and the odd comment from Eddie Howe. I know it is not so usual these days but that is not a reason not to do it. Parrish does it all the time.

Then I'm guessing he's not for sale. If Isak puts in a transfer request, and someone bids £150m+, then things are going to be tested. I imagine both of those things need to happen for us to change our position.

He also seemed to wait until Liverpool had already spent £100m+ on Wirtz then another £80m on Ekitike before starting to push for it. If they now need to stick to a budget that's not our problem.
