He’s saying pool will only bid if invited (they won’t be). Agitation has come from Isak’s camp, wasn’t pools intention to unsettle him. So imo at no point are we going to be open to a sale, so what is this all for? Get yourself back to training Alex.

I think it's as simple as he wants to leave and earn more money now but we won't sell until we have a replacement. Also nobody else seems interested and I doubt we want to sell to Liverpool. Seems like something Eddie can smooth out when back.

Media seem desperate for some kind of 'saga' to write about and I understand why, they ned engagement. But a club continually saying 'no' isn't a saga but it does put us and how we deal with it in the spotlight and we've got to be strong here and play it by the book. If we cave then every single person will see it and take advantage in the future

Literally nothing has changed since he didn't fly to Korea. If Liverpool aren't going to bid, we keep him. Lovely. Unless he acts the cunt.

Maybe splitting hairs here but I don't see anything in that video that he's backtracked on. He can still love the fans, the club and the city and want to leave, no? He doesn't commit to his future in the video. If he had said he will be here next season or if he had said he wants to be here next season then aye, that's a U-turn.

What is it with these high profile players acting on the prompts of these greasy fucking wanker agents, have the soppy cunts no intuition or will to act professionally? I've always though Isak looked at home enough with the squad, maybe slightly aloof at times.  But on the clip I saw first day back at the club his face was fucking tripping him

He can want to leave, but he’s acted like a bit of a disrespectful bellend.

Another old news report / case showing how discusting Isak's agent is, Vlado Lemic. He got 25% of Isak's transfer fee when sold from AIK Sweden to Borussia Dortmunt:

"Alexander Isak's transfer to Borussia Dortmund broke a new Swedish sales record. But AIK doesn't get all the millions. According to the Football Channel, 17–21 of the 85 million (SEK) goes to shadowy agent Vlado Lemic. [...]

Vlado Lemic is, in addition to his strong ties to Abramovich, also notorious in the Netherlands, where the Serb is banned from both PSV Eindhoven and Ajax after being accused of embezzling money in connection with deals with PSV Eindhoven (allegations that were never proven) and urging Ajax midfielder Nemanja Gudelj to strike before his winter transfer to Chinese side Tianjin TEDA went through. Lemic has also been investigated by the International Football Association Fifa for irregularities in connection with Croatian Milan Badelj's transfer from Dinamo Zagreb to Hamburg in 2012. However, Fifa was unable to prove any wrongdoing."

So Isak's agent Vlado Lemic has:

(1) Been banned and excluded by previous clubs he has dealt with - AIK, PSV and Ajax

(2) His previous agency Universal Twenty Two split up because of gun shootings and car explosions by criminal gangs due to their ties with Lemic and/or his coworkers

(3) Has been exposed and been subject to leaks due to tax fraud and reciving illegal sums in tax havens

(4) Has previously been investigated by FIFA

(5) Has ties to Roman Abramovich following his era at Chelsea

Nothing should surprise us

So Liverpool won't bid and Isak gets a new contract? All is fine?

edit. I think this burglary thing is blown out of proportion also:

Quote

Off the pitch, there has been a lot of writing in the Swedish and international press recently about the burglary that Isak was subjected to in April last year. The AFP news agency has previously reported that thieves stole jewelry worth almost 900,000 kronor, among other things.

The BBC reported on Tuesday that a man had been found guilty of the burglary and that three of his accomplices had previously pleaded guilty. The four will be sentenced at a later date.

- It's not something I want to talk about now. It's been so long. It happened a year ago. They got caught right away. I put that behind me. It's a bit strange for me that there's a trial now and that details are coming out so late. But no, it's not something I want to talk about, says Isak.

This sort of shit is rife in sport, deeks at the Kinahan’s and boxing.

Heavy gangsterism and promoters / agents have always gone hand in hand

Easy pickings for the agent gangsters when their prize asset sports stars are often young kids from lowly beginnings

Never forget that most footballers have a  very limited education and a lot of them without being too unkind are not the brightest spark in the shed.

And lots grow up in poverty and / or environments where they’re surrounded by radgepackets day to day

Oh aye, Richard Hughes' mouthpiece saying Liverpool have nothing to do with the leaks.

Presumably they had nothing to do with the "give us Isak or we'll sign Ekitike" leak either.

Choke on the butter that wouldn't melt in your mouth, you cunts.

My best mate is an agent, and a decent guy - really looks after his players

Most players get picked up pretty young so ny question was probably more aligned to how do these scumbags get to the front of the queue when players/parents are looking into this.

The answer is pretty obvious but if it was my kid, would avoid people like this like the plague.

His agent might be a cunt but Isak is old enough to know faking an injury to not go on tour is scumbag behaviour.

If a notorious Serbian gangster tells me to stay at home so he can make himself a fortune by getting me a deal with one of the biggest clubs in world football where I’ll earn a million pounds a month, then it’s not going to be easy to persuade him that I don’t want to do it

Not defending Isak, because I’m appalled at his attitude, but you can see how players end up in these situations

Sociopaths find it difficult to fake a smile.
