I remember when the first bids of £30m were getting rejected and there were people on here going "get in Ashley keep knocking them back" only for hours later a few agreed for £35m and Ashley will chopper him in to Liverpool to make sure deal gets done in time. The negative of this is probably that we have given the green light for them to start bidding and just waiting to meet the fee we are happy to deal on. So sickening this whole thing and especially as we currently have Osula as our only ST Yep, the fact that they have had the confidence to bid tells its own story. It will be £135m + add ons that seals it. Watch us end up with Jackson as the “replacement”. Shambolic doesn’t even get close to describing this utter shit show. Nothing below that. Which will probably have been communicated by his agent at some point? And tbf, PSG seem to have steered away from signing Galacticos and has a bit more sensible approach. They dont REALLY need another striker with Kolo Muani, Ramos and Dembele. Think they need to sell at least one of those prior to any big purchase. But this is just me guessing. Personally think he'd be bored out of his mind playing in Ligue 1 week in and week out
SUPERTOON
If we sell before we have a top class replacement I’m done with PIF.

Superior Acuña
I like Ollie Watkins but surely they’d absolutely rinse us knowing our desperation at this stage
TK-421
Yep, think "we're in the Endgame now". I do think now bidding has started, he'll end up there. But, I also think we'll stand firm on the valuation, and it'll be very close to or the full £150m. We MUST have 'replacements' signed/sealed lined up before we accept anything though, even making that a condition if we have to. Right but who cares? Who cares if “Liverpool” win the league, again. Their fans obviously but it’s like “well done, you won a league with the only competition coming from the other team that’s allowed to spend £500m in one window”. Everyone else is playing a different game. Wish they’d all just been fucked off and not allowed back in after the super league shite they pulled. Kid Icarus
I have absolutely no doubt that we'll do it like. The mentality shift that I thought had come in with PIF was a delusion
et tu brute
So they have put in a totally pathetic bid of £110 million and yet people on here still think we will roll over

duo
He could have done it the right way - played the season and gave Newcastle the opportunity to scout for his replacement. He's ruined his legacy with the club.
Chrisjraby
Unless we get at least two strikers in at non-inflated prices, isak should be told to shut the fuck up and honour his contract

SteV
Watkins would probably be the best ‘here and now’ replacement we could get. Whether that would be a sensible use of funds for the longer term is an entirely different matter.
