Keep at all cost once Sesko turns us down. If we sell him to one of the cartel after this summer, we’ve practically raised the white flag in terms of competing for the foreseeable.

Worse than that, we would be starting the season with 0 recognized strikers, which could easily mean a lower mid table finish or dare I say it worse. Osula is a nice lad but looks like a football version of Forrest Gump out there.

we need to somehow fuck Liverpool. like get in Sesko and then go absurd with the price for Isak. like we dont listen to offers under 250m world record bid. as a payback for the Ekitike saga.

and if Isak is unhappy we can offer a way out for him to Saudi league with 3x salary of what he would get at Liverpool. otherwise we go 442...

I think Isak is a pro and while he might be considering a switch he'll not act inappropriately or leave us when we don't have a replacement. even if he stays on i'm sure he'll do good.

I agree with the last statement, if he stays his performances will be fine, if sulky. I do think he’d absolutely love to leave us without a replacement if that meant he was gone

Downie saying if we miss out on Sesko, Newcastle are well within their rights to tell Isak he has 3 years on his contract and has to stay.

It's like being in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, this.

I'm almost at the point now whereby if I heard that Liverpool's head transfer guy said 'Look lads, do you want a hand in signing this fucker's replacement? Let's just help you get someone in here, what's the budget I'm working with here?' to our transfer team, I'd not rule it out

Media (and likely our fans) will be yapping on about his body language all season, when it will be the same as his first season. Guy has a look of a sulky player all the time, that’s just way he looks on the pitch but doesn’t mean he’s sulky :D

Can’t wait to see him put in full effort if forced to stay with us

He is sulky as fuck like, always has been. It will just be turbo sulk if he stays. He’s always digging out his team mates for not passing to him or releasing the ball when he wanted it

There is no reason, AT ALL, for Liverpool to spunk 150m on Isak. Hugo is perfect for how they will play as he will seamlessly play in his free-ish CF role and get 12+ goals anf 8+ assists in the league easy. They are better off spending 40m on Mateta to be a battering ram for them.

Players forget that they hold more power than the manager/coaching setup in dictating where we finish and what is available. As a friend said to me earlier, scousers were happy taking £142m for Coutinho SEVEN years ago, can't tell me with profile/inflation of fees that you think you can buy a striker like Isak for less. Sign someone, move him on and let's get back to supporting the lads who want to be here.

It's not like we can even reassure Isak that we'll be back up there this season. Our prospects for top 5 are looking pretty remote right now, as CL will crush our squad.

The season hasn't started yet man [emoji38]

He is but he's not a dead cert like Isak is. Ekitike is the one that's probably a bit weirder of the two, having both is pure greed.

Yeah watched us score a few goals and instead of his face beaming and him running to celebrate he looks at them like he has shit under his nose. Prick! Our prick for now mind.
