Yeah for me, it's more about not rewarding his agent and Liverpool, for their destructive behaviour at this point. Saudi, the continent, I don't care if he goes. Just Anywhere But Liverpool.

Just crossed my mind, that the fact Isak is always exhausted after 60-70 mins and is not really much about endless running and pressing like Murphy, Elanga, Isak or Barnes (and Almiron and Longstaff prior). I mean that, if he just doesn't want to play Howe's football? If he is just a bit of a lazy footballer? Playing in a team like Liverpool means you are doing a lot less pressing and having the ball a lot more.

More likely the reason is money and trophies though.

He just has quite a weird body for football and low stamina IMO. I don’t think he’ll ever to be able to play a good 90 minutes, he really drops off noticeably around 55.

Not such a problem if you can bring another £90m striker on I guess.

Interesting read in the Mirror about Isaks agent.

Was a big mediastorm in Sweden about this Universal agency about a year ago. Lemic who acts as a "advisor" is a really shady person who does what it takes to move his players and the clubs doesn't get much money from the playersales. Most goes to the agent.

He had a real grip of AIK(Isaks former club) and put them under a lot of pressure. They have now cut all ties with Universal.

And now most clubs in Sweden refuses to buy or sell players as long as Universal is a part of any deal.

Gives a lot of answers to why Isak is acting the way he does.

That’s very surprising, every metric is better without him? Suds will be pleased.

Must be remembered that back in 22/23 Wilson was in direct competition with Isak and was regularly starting ahead of him and having a great goalscoring season himself.

We don't have a 22/23 (18 goals) equivalent to Wilson right now to fall back on if Isak goes. We have Osula and Gordon.

If we get a Wissa or equivalent then agreed the drop off shouldn't be as severe. But we will see against Villa and Liverpool if we have no one new to play up top how much of a difference it makes.

Just look at how much we improved when we got Wood in 21/22. Yes he didn't score the goals but it improved the function of the rest of the team having a recognised striker.

Left-field suggestion - make a bid for Wood [emoji38]. Being a Nottingham Forest Plus is no bad thing and same as Wissa, Forest may consider selling an OAP asset.

Alex, who often speaks so highly of his AIK time, knowingly takes advice from a guy who is banned by the foundational club of his career.

Liverpool should also be extremely cautious about dealing with gangsters, crooks and overall cunts, to be honest.

They are a club of honor though. Respectful only.

that’s also why they are reluctant to pay 150m now. They can foresee what will happen two years later.

One day it'll come out this agent has webcam footage of him like that lad on Black Mirror.

Don't think it is the case, but could be something more than that. I believe I remember reading they are quite a dangerous lot, luring young prospects in early with gifts and stuff to make them sign for them. Probably not as fun once their name is on that contract.

Tbh, they might have had second thoughts anyway if they have clicked on that his agent is an absolute psycho.

Wonder if the 2 cbs coming in this week makes a difference to their ability to purchase him.

Be class if they've fucked him off.

Would be so fucking funny like. So much damage caused by one club, one player and his agent, with a helping hand from the biggest scum in sports journalism. Just got to hope the schadenfreude hit in the future is worth it
