There have been days since it all started that nothing has happened. You're that one that went from rumour and if true to surely.

So weird just picking apart posts for the sake of it. In content there’s fuck all wrong with what I said. Move on

There could be more speculation on a move but I don't think we'll see the skullduggery we've seen in this transfer window because we will have proven it doesn't work.

Agree, if we still have him come September the message will be to give us his best for a year and he'll be able to go next summer.

Yeah I would find it incredible if he was willing to follow through with refusing to train and play once the window shuts.

I think it's a last throw of the dice to force it but if we don't get the replacement which is looking like almost a certainty now, then he won't go.

It's odd that he's going this nuclear against us considering the platform and love he received here to grow. Yes there is some bad blood regarding his contract situation, but it seems like he and his agent have been unwilling to negotiate with us to find a middle ground and is just refusing to consider the new contract now as an option.

to be fair no one knows the details of the contract offered. May be no release clause, may be longer duration.

So he should. It's one thing wanting to leave but it's another to refuse to do the basics and breaking your contract.

He is training. Eddie is keeping him away from the group. I would imagine it’s Eddies idea not to play him also until this is sorted out one way or another (probably not match fit either).

The whole tide has turned in terms of the actual talking heads in football.

The leaks earlier in the week have backfired massively. Shifted the focus from the clubs to Isak and his agent.

There has definitely been a narrative shift this week, a fair few pundits have been coming out and saying what Isak is doing is wrong, and he should be ashamed. It also seems the Ornsteins and Romano's are starting to have their tails between their legs, that Ornstein clip from yesterday, he seemed genuinely a bit shocked that his character was being questioned and was being held to account.
