I don't have Twitter anymore as its a cespit. What did the guys say last night? Guessing it was full on gushing at Isak's statement, and barely a mention of the clubs?

🔴♟️ Alexander Isak makes his move and it was always clear since July: he only wants Liverpool.

He doesn’t even want to discuss any other option with Newcastle, and never considered Al Hilal despite reports.

Liverpool Football Club. 🇸🇪

Guess who^?

A post (which was too close to the release of Isaks statement not to be synchronised ) stating he only wants Liverpool.

How about a naughty, loud rendition of, "Who put the ball in the Scousers net? Alexander Isak", on Monday. :tobey:

Been singing this version of it since the final... I'll gladly take part in it again on Monday

The "Liverpool FC" bit at the end of Romano's tweet was fucking ridiculous like. Guess who currently owns him, pays him every week, and can decide what to do with him Fabrizio? Newcastle United FC. Now fuck off you detestable cunt

Some of the papers this morning running with Isak's statement as their main back page headline. Martin Hardy stating that "the club have been approached for comment", so it was obviously written before the club statement.

I think that's one reason the statement had to be made. They can just point to it and say "here's our statement" rather than have to repeat it dozens of times.

Great statement regardless, though.

So guessing there was no tweet about our statement. How predictable, almost like he's trying to push his own agenda by reporting on only one side of the story

Just quoted our statement with no additional comment.

Pretty shit journalism then, we could read that anywhere. What is the point of him tweeting anything unless he's got some input which gives us his angle?

He can’t answer it. Because that statement is the real check mate move.

 what a cunt

 It's so fucking bizarre. Just slapping it at the end of his tweet. If there was ever any doubt he's a paid shill, that should be completely removed by now

Things are heating up, this whole Isak thing has chugged out our whole transfer window.

It seems football is moving to a whole new level of competition, its not just a challenge on the pitch, its financial, its in the courts, its sponsorship, ownership and now running campaigns to destabilise other clubs players.
