I have to close FB because of this cunt.

95% of FB is....

Random African: Free Isak. My club Liverpool would never hold anyone hostage. Newcastle treats people like slaves.

Random answer: But your club did the same to Gerrard, Coutinho, Torres, Suarez, Mascheranho etc.

253 Africans: But Liverpool is a big club! Newcastle is a small club. Do you see the difference?!

or it's the Swedes who are 110% sure that he will break his contract next week and that FIFA has predetermined that the sum is €40m.

If it were that easy, several players would have done it after the ex-Chelsea/Real player in 2014.

Vuvuzela generation coming back to haunt football armed with equally shitty plastic opinions flooding all of social media platforms.

Liverpool fans have been like this my entire football following existence tbh.

I can't stand them, I get the impression that people who think this is new behaviour just haven't had the "privilege" of having to interact with them until this shit show.

They've always been massive, massive cunts.

I'm thinking that at this point the best scenario is a freak geological incident where Liverpool detaches from the mainland, hooks a left round Ireland and is subsumed into the Mid Atlantic Ridge.

(I realise this would take a whole reversal of the process but I'm willing to accept that).

Oh and I've always thought Mike's a proper canny lad by the way.

Actually, that would allow for half the requirements needed for Article 17.

That article 17 carry on man, as if that wouldn't have already have been done if it was a thing.

The other half of the requirements would be crushed beyond all recognition due to gargantuan sub-terranean pressure... or summat.[emoji38]

Let's just invoke article 5 and be done with it.

At least we'll know where we stand when the dust settles, if it does.

Think Space Crop Directive 196156, is more appropriate in this setting.

The way I see it now is we literally can't sell him to Liverpool this summer under any circumstances just out of principle.

Make him stay and if he decides he wants to be on strike all season which he won't, then we still get £100 million + for him next summer regardless. I don't ever want to see the prick play for us again but would rather that happened than we buckled and sold him to Liverpool this summer .

It will save us a lot of pain in the long term (not selling to Liverpool).

i think the likes of Tonali would definitely think twice about downing tools to force a move after this summer.

Sends a message to the septic 6 that we won't be bullied into selling our best players

If only you all were near a subduction zone, then we could dream.

I doubt that's true, like. He wont get his wages for the years he's no longer going to be employed for.

Yeah, all the examples/articles have the Loyalty bonus as a fixed amount paid over the life over the contract and separate to the base salary.

If Isaks agent negotiated half his deal as a bonus that relied on him not leaving for 5 years, he should be getting a new one yesterday

Isak makes me laugh though, because, you know, it's his interfering, it's his timing. Going on about he wants some transfer doing-it's bank holiday weekend, you know. Ooh, what's more important, you Alex, with your “broken promises”, or some starving fans? Ooh I don't know. Ooh what would Eddie Howe say? I think we know-imagine him going out of the door on transfer deadline day and Jason Tindall is going 'Where you going, you haven't done the press conference. You haven't put the cones out.' 'Do it yourself I've gotta buy some Africans!’ (Wissa and Jackson)
