What's he going to do, stop training and refuse to play?

He's got no cards left to play.

my post proceeding that post was talking about how I think he’ll eventually put in a transfer request…..as a last throw of the dice. In a strop. Not that it’ll make much difference.

They already know our fans are pissed and its got the potential to be a vicious atmosphere towards them, don't think they are stupid enough to try and rile up our fans hours before they have to come play at St James

They'll do exactly that and then blame the police when they get a good hiding.

I don't see Liverpool bidding  130 or whatever, especially since they know we dont have a striker besides Isak. That'd be dumb. I reckon they'll bid as soon as we get Wissa or someone like that. Why bid tomorrow when they know it'll get turned down? It'd be like their 110m bid, totally embarrassing.

I highly doubt Isak's gonna hand in a transfer request. That 130 mil deal means almost 13 mil in loyalty bonuses etc, and his agent won't let him miss out on those sweet £££ . No way.

We should get him to sign a new contract. That way, we're covered if he wants to leave in January or next summer. We should make it easier for him to go to a team in another league and super hard for him to go to another  team in the Premier League.

We gotta win this battle. If Isak goes to Liverpool next summer, I'm calling it a loss. We either sell him to a team in Europe or keep him. No to a team in the EPL, no Liverpool. Tell his agent to Barca or Madrid etc 120m to Liverpool/sky 6 team 170m.

New contract, bumper pay rise, transfer clause of £130m abroad, £200m domestically and an agreement that when it happens his agent doesn't get a bean.

I really REALLY hope we don't chant about him directly tonight - that's what he and his agent want, they want a "no way back" narrative to force a sale on their terms. Let's not do that, please. Don't give him and his cunt agent any ammunition.

That said, I'd love an absolutely deafening and prolonged crescendo of "You can stick your hundred million up your arse" - Doesn't say anything negative about Isak, but still gets a message across rather nicely.

Feels inevitable but I hope not as well.

His behavior is unacceptable, but still I cannot help but feel that a player like him should earn like the best players in the league. As things stand, Mason Mount earns double Isaks salary.

I for once will forgive him as long as he will give his best this year on the field and leave next summer for 130m+

If he wants Man Utd money he can go there and finish 17th or whatever. Man Utd are a crazy comparison as they overpay everyone

That kaveh idiot on SSN there, on about our bid for JSL, saying it just shows the pricing market for forwards these days... £50m+ for strand larsen, £70-80m for Jackson.

Yet in the another breathe, they'll say we are overpricing Isak and should accept a lower bid from Liverpool.

Make it make sense, FFS!!

Staverley was right and the contract should have been offered, Mitchell was a prick, he could have demanded contract when he left, he could even have put in transfer request. He didn't have to screw over our season could have just continued to act a professional.
