Ah, the Woltemade deal does change it. If Liverpool really submit 150m offer and we are able to get Wissa for 45m then I think the club will let Isak go

but then my stance still the same : we should not sell to Liverpool, no matter what.

Hope Yasir understands it

Respect FC will get him for 128 million plus add ons I reckon. Shame, we've actually got a really solid squad now if he wasn't being such a testicle.

I'm the same.  Sell him to Barcelona.

He doesn't.

The club will think about what is best for the club long term, not the short term feelings of fans.

I say keep him. He'll come crawling back when it dawns on him that he won't get a deal elsewhere even close to what he can command today if he hasn't touched a ball in a competitive game for a year. He continues to maintain/grow his worth, we have a season to find the second striker for our squad that best compliments Woltemessi.

Need Joe to snap his legs at Anfield in January. I want the snapping sound to drown out the crowd’s noise.

It wouldn't surprise me if he suffers a "minor knock" in the training before that fixture and has to sit it out.

it’s exactly for the best of the club that we can’t set a precedent case that the player can win by being a cunt and got a total victory

agree to disagree, I know what you mean

I have asked before and not gotten an answer.

Where have this precedent been set before after selling a player that wanted to leave?

It's not really anything based on reality.

God I can't wait for this sorry "saga" to fucking end, one way or another, it's fucking draining. We're making a really exciting signing, and all the articles I'm seeing have this cunts name on the title. It's infuriating.

selling a player that wants to leave: fucking lots of precedent case, yes

selling a player who act as a cunt and collaborated with same league rival club: close to none, or at least not the same window. Say Rooney to Man City, Gerrard to Chelsea.

Just now, Nobody said:

No matter who we bring in, do NOT sell him to Liverpool.

Woltemade is a massive gamble, let's not pretend that signing him is in any way shape or form is a one-for-one replacement for Isak.

Wissa would help massively, plus chucking crackers Oslula on

We should follow the example from Stuttgart - they told Bayern to fuck off 3 times and then they sold Woltemade to us for a reasonable/market value (though still high).

I hope the club does the same here. We should be in ok shape with PSR to be able to hold on to Isak until next summer and then do our best to move him to another league even if its at a slightly lower fee. This sets the right precedent and its the best thing for the club both short and long term, but primarily long term.

We can always dump him in January in a loan with obligation or something along those lines.
