The finance officer when they find out Rodrygo's wages.

It's not that crazy, it's less than we offered Isak.

But probably Rodrygo being willing to come here would be the biggest sticking point.

Whenever this second bid comes in, whenever it happens, it needs to be rejected immediately. If they've tapped him up, encouraged him to go on strike etc all summer they're not walking away after only 2 bids, they'll be desperate to get him and we need to get every single penny out of them for him. Don't give a fucking inch. Rinse them out

And the c*nt and his agent have managed to engineer all of this without, seemingly, submitting a transfer request?  I'm really not sure how that is even possible.  Surely he has submitted a request by default by virture of his behaviour.  I'd feel slighly more accepting of all of this if he had.

We can't sell untill a transfer request comes in. Guy can't walk away with his loyalty bonus after he's displayed no loyalty to the club all summer with his antics. That's more damaging then any sale.

Very valid point. There's nothing more disloyal than refusing to play for your team and leaving them striker-less against the team you have done everything you can to try and join.

Should be a condition of any sale that he has to forgoe that "loyalty bonus"

Probably not handing in request because his deal is agreed with Liverpool, and it doesn't contain a signing on bonus that would make up for the loss of income from the loyalty bonus (another shit deal by his agent).

He wants this move, he's going to have put himself out of pocket. Wanker can't have it all his way.

They’ll be less smug when we overtake them as a club within the next five years

Slot is such a good fit for Liverpool because he is so smug.

He's a fantastic footballer but he has his cons, and some of them aren't exactly small.

He also doesn't strike me as a player who will play well into his 30s. I don't think his body will be able to take it.

I believe he'll have a rather short career as well, at least as a striker. Body combined with playing style doesn't bold well for a long career.
