We don't have to accept any low bid.

PIF can also do a double hit by tapping up Mo Salah and ensuring no Saudi club pays a big fee for him next summer. Get him to stay the second year and leave on a free if necessary.

Liverpool do not hold all the cards.

PIF's Saudi league operations have zero links or consideration for us, as we've already seen with the continual transfer bail-outs they've given to the cartel clubs.

Don't expect Saudi teams to be colluding on our behalf.

I know some people want rid due to the ongoing toxicity of the situation but if we accept £130m the Liverpool have bent us over. They won’t pay £150m and are using the fact there’s no other suitors to strong arm us into accepting a low bid.

Would anyone take £130/£135m before Monday?

Are you telling me that Jan Åge Fjørtoft just lied on TV saying a £130m deal has been agreed?

Surprised Pokemon GIF

To be fair to my fellow countryman, hasn't he been pretty much correct on most things other than the initial Sesko bid?

Yeah. 135m.

Not sure about 130.

Don't think we would have bent over at all, but met in the middle.

£120m would be bending over.

Signed Larsen for £65m, we’d actually have spent more than what we got for Isak and probably still need to sell next summer :D

You get all the value of a sale in one go and can spread any outlay over duration of contracts (normally 5 years) so not quite.

If we buckle and sell for less than £150m though and I'll feel we've been had.

If the club sell before Tuesday, the price they are happy with will have to take into account the price of having Isak out the door, a line drawn and a new start with possibly new players in to refresh the team making us ready to go again on a United front. Personally I would never do business with LiVARpool again after the way they have played this out using their media bitches to help pressure us and dictate this saga. I didn’t think I could loathe them any more.  It will be what it will be. Whatever happens we are United  HTL :indi:
