Fuck him. The club can use this as a positive. We’ve had a good window and it can create more of a siege mentality. I think everyone, from ownership to team to fan base should use the whole episode and his behaviour as motivation now.

Just forced myself to watch his Liverpool interview- all 1 minute 36 seconds of it.

Says 3 times how happy he is with a face like he’s at a funeral. His temperament has and will continue to adversely affect his game and it wouldn’t surprise me if we’ve already seen the best of him.

He embodies all that is wrong with modern football and has shat on the club, manager and teammates who made him the player he is today. I hope he has made a big mistake and rues this day forever.

Aye he doesn’t even look happy in the photos. Sad if he’s unable to connect with the emotional side of football but I understand the £300k a week must distort anyone’s thinking to some extent.

Starting to recover a bit from the pure anger and hatred of the last couple of weeks

If I could change one thing in football it would be to get the transfer window out of the way before the season starts. Messes up the start of the league so much.

I feel that I now need to put on record my sincere thanks (as they would be given to expect) to Liverpool Football Club (The Almighty Overlord) for the respectful and dignified way in which they have handled their acquisition. Henceforth to be known as Respect Fc. From Richard Hughes to Arne Snot (typo) they have been the embodiment of good grace and candidness. Requiring us to beg them to sell one of our best ever players to them was a clear embodiment of the respect they show in their dealings. The player has acted with the utmost professionalism and sincerity; he has repaid and more so the considerable effort that Eddie Howe and the coaching team have directed towards his development. The player has also done everything possible and explored all avenues to ensure we have 2 points from an almost certain 9.

May I conclude by wishing all at Liverpool FC and the player as much luck and prosperity for the coming seasons as they deserve.

Yes absolutely create a proper siege mentality around him and that club.

Proper I will love it if we beat them vibes

Imagine a title run in against them how  the media narrative would be

Get that shit the hell outta here.

Exposure therapy. Watch it in on repeat until the full range of negative high expressed emotions drift into the background. And you can just dispassionately watch it. It/he seems irrelevant. You’re welcome 😉

Giving how many clubs have been impacted by transfers this summer, I won’t be surprised if over coming weeks some noise happens about clubs wanting to go back to previous year of window closing before first Prem game.

So many impacted negatively.

Whether that’s a blanket window close day before first prem game, or just domestic sales, and clubs can still sign from Europe up to end of August (as the European sales is what made clubs ditch if last time, it meant their bargaining hand was taken away for sales / unable to jump on deals later in window).

Didn’t really feel much when watching that video, not sure why. Just hearing a star player say the same things after joining Liverpool that he would say joining any club, maybe. Even the questions about why he’s so happy to be there could be about anyone. There’s no real meaning behind it.

Did annoy me when he talked about how he could finally get back to work like
