As problematic as our season might turn out, I‘m still glad he left. Doesnt deserve the black and white.

He was a cunt but an out of form Isak is still miles better than what we have now

Could have given us one more season and went to Barcelona to replace Lewandowski with our blessing for £80-90m, his reputation in tact and an NUFC legend. Oh well.

not only that, he would have played them three times this season and showed them directly what he's all about

And we could have perhaps got Fermin Lopez or Ferran Torres or one of their lesser players in return

If Slot stays put, he might as well look to leave.  No chance he will ever properly shine in his awful system, IMO.

He's a cunt, but he is a better finisher than Ekitike.  His link up play isn't as good and he needs space to operate.  Imagine him if Klopp was still there, he'd be racking up an insane amount of goals.  I mean, he wouldn't because fortunately, he is injured.  But you get my point.

I know, just can’t stand the thought him still being one of us after what he did last summer.

Really need Liverpool to miss out on the Champions League and for them to announce Slot will get another year for all hell to break lose over there. Will be absolutely glorious.

I'm sure agents of players there will be straight away looking for any opportunity to get more money by moving their players. Already heard Wirtz agent mouthing off about a Real Madrid move, and we all know Isak's agent is a nut job, so this Barca talk wouldn't surprise me.

What a shit decision this has turned out to be;  a real ‘dig two graves’ lose-lose saga. Can’t recall a more impactful negative transfer for both player and club, certainly not involving us.

Three even.  Probably had a negative effect on Liverpool too, this season anyway.

edit: As Lovejoy already said

Surely no teams are going to pay big fees for the likes of Isak and Wirtz after a poor season and massive injury? Nowhere near what Liverpool paid.

Most likely not, no.

But imagine how satisfying it will be watching on as their agents start peddling them about and talking up moves elsewhere, and causing all kinds of disruption.

God willing it shall come to pass this summer.

But remember he got fuckloads of money, which was probably the main reason for forcing the move now rather than waiting.

As did his agent.

They'll want to keep Wirtz anyways. He's good and will only get better. Kind of a key player for them at this point.

Rat cunt knows he's not an automatic starter given Ekitike's form and quality. Fucking LOL.

Ekitike has done alright. Only just over double figures in the league.

I'm not sure how much better off we are financially. Sure we maybe are a bit, but we've bombed in the league, which will affect revenue, and signed two total plonkers with the money.

If he stayed and we got an extra ~10 points in the league it'd have been better surely.

We absolutely can afford the wages for a small group of top players, the issue is we seem hell bent on worrying about what far inferior players want in our "wage structure" -- I promise you, Harvey Barnes mouthing off over Isak getting 150k more than him can easily be met with a firm no, and Harvey being sold if he doesn't like it. Isak, Bruno, Tonali, Gordon, Hall, Tino, in that particular order with some matching and hey look, sorted the wages out.

Football 365 being utterly shameless, again.

Isak has apparently told his agent he fancies a change of scenery and believes Barcelona has a style of play that suits him best.

While it would be funny as fuck it has to be bullshit...

Looks like they were reporting the same story a year ago

50-50 with Emiliano Sala to Cardiff.
