Delighted it's serious. Couldn't happen to a bigger piece of human filth, wouldn't want injuries on normal players but he's definitely an exception to that. He went out of his way to fuck the club, his manager and his teammates over this summer and deserves every single bit of bad luck and pain that comes with those decisions he made in June and July. Hope he's limping for the next 30 years the fucking arsehole

Looks like it is the ankle from some of the photos. I broke mine in 2 places, 3 months in plaster and 6 months physio. Mind you the cheap skates at the QE decided that a Porter trying to push the sole of my foot with his chest while applying the plaster of paris would do the same job as an operation and a plate….pity Isak wasn’t sent to the QE thinking about it.

Broke my ankle at T In The Park 2014, had to cancel my trip to Aiya Napa and was in a cast for 9 weeks. Didn’t play football for a year. Was hell on earth.

I was 20 clem mind but hopefully Isak’s is just as fucking depressing.

So he broke his Ankle and his Fibula. I guess more time off and pay for doing nothing, similar to this summer.

I’d guess the fibula is fractured near the base and he’s hopefully got ligament/ soft tissue injury at the ankle joint. Such a shame.

With the way his ankle bent he would be extremely fortunate to not have any ligament damage.

3 in 16 for Liverpool, fucked world cup qualifying up for Sweden and now a broken leg. Something wrong with you if you're not finding this absolutely hilarious

He was already past the point of being able to return to the form he had with us, and this is the cherry on top.

He doesn't have the mental or physical strength to deal with a serious injury like this.  I'd be utterly shocked if he played 5 more games for the dippers, before being hawked off to Galatasaray for pennies on the dollar.

I see he'll be doing his rehab at Liverpool's "AXA Training Centre". AXA were named in Francesca Albanese's report on corporations who profited from the genocide in Gaza.

Doesn’t matter that la, one rules for the redmen and one for everyone else

Based on NFL injuries it really depends on what happened to the ankle. An NFL player returned in 7 weeks that was fibula fracture only and another played on one (until he ruptured his achilles). But if there's more extensive ankle problems then you're probably more in the 4-5 month range until he's back.

Considering he has a heart the size of a pea I don't see him aggressively pushing any timelines the way some do. April/May seems likely as best case and then his performances for the next 18 months will be excused for a lack of preseason in 2025 combined with an injury. It will be 2028 before anyone is allowed to properly rate his performances, coincidentally the same year we have to stop recognizing profits from his sale.
