It does feel like the Liverpool Club is trying to hide something re Isaks injury. No one really knows the exact severeness of the injury.

Strange handling. Could it be so worse that even the club couldn’t give an expected return date?

They are being coy with the details on the ankle.

Hopefully that’s him missing World Cup games and Sweden don’t qualify, because him pissing away the summer has cost them.

4 months out would be dreamy, come back late April, and pick up a nice muscle injury in May that then sees him miss start of pre-season and he’s playing catch up next season. Liverpool fans will be sick of him by this time next year.

Shame he avoids a good kicking by us, unless we meet each other in like FA Cup Semis / Final or UCL SFs.

It's important to point out that all the "he'll come good" bet-hedgers on here were emphatically wrong.

I mean he was starting to find his feet he scored 2 goals in 257 minutes of football. The goal he scored was typical Isak - a very good finish. The injury was unfortunate for him but he was starting to get his confidence in front of goal back

I was referring to his early matches at Liverpool when we were enjoying his pathetic performances and the many "he'll come good eventually but enjoying it while it lasts" type comments on here. Well, he didn't come good. Went from bad to worse to unbelievably useless to completely crocked.

This plays into the scourse victim mentality perfectly. And he could go from being hated by most to being clapped back onto the field by opposing fans when he does return. All last summer forgotten.

But for now, let's enjoy it.

He’ll get a guard of honour at every ground in the land.

Like a makem walking into a sports bar in Benidorm.

Took tennis player Zverev about 10 months to get back to full fitness from ankle surgery. Tore 3 ligaments. Hope Isak tore 17 or so🫥IMG_2172.thumb.png.ff07992af2666208476e4fd71e28c2d8.png

So what youre saying is - he might not have a preseason next season either?

If Carlsberg did karma...

I think I’m just as pleased that this thread won’t get bumped for a few months.  As much as I don’t like what the cunt did, I can’t be chewed with pissing on the memory of the happiest day following this club I’ve had in nearly four decades - most of which has been filled with disappointment, irritation or embarrassment.  Isak still scored the winner in the first trophy win I’ve ever seen, something which I’d given up hoping for.  I never thought I’d see it as a kid; under KK, there was hope - but even then we pissed that away (and if the old lads who were on the coach back from from Forest in 95/96 are reading this - no, we didn’t fucking win it next year, regardless of you trying to give a young knacker like me hope.  Probably not your fault though - and thank you for the rum-infused tea that you gave me 😁).  We’ve had plenty of players through the years fuck off for a better deal elsewhere - including local lads - who’ve been forgiven far quicker.

I had a snapped PT tendon repair only and it took me 7 months to be walking competently without pain and 11 months to be mostly fully functional (no running though). I'm in my late 30s and no athlete but ankles are notoriously shit healers due to poor blood supply and the amount of structures involved in joint stability.

In fact - fuck it.  Isak’s winner sits second only to the below in my lifetime - and unlike his winner, I was there (you can see my blonde mop in the Gallowgate if you know where to look).  Yes, he acted the cunt - but if you’re my age and you’re spending your days wasting your time on him, then you’re daft.

I’ve no issue with being upset with the lad, but he’s not even at the David Speedie level of hatred to me.  If Isak is up there for you, you’ve experienced fuck all when it comes the worst experiences possible.  We used to hate Cambridge fucking United lads.
