I think he’s the best all around striker in the PL. there’s stuff he does that nobody else can.

Agree don’t think there’s anyone at CF you would replace him for. Haaland in our team wouldn’t work

Best front three in PL

Palmer/Saka, Isak, Salah

Arguably the best striker in the world at the moment. Haaland is struggling, and Osimhen's career seems to have stalled in Turkey.

Imagine how many goals he'd have this season if he scored all the easy ones he's missed

I wonder if there's been studies into this. Isak isn't alone in being able to bury difficult chances on the regular, but also regularly missing the easy ones.

The 1v1 yesterday I actually think is forgiveable, I think he expected the keeper to go down and he was going to lift it over him. Keeper stood up though and made him look silly.

It's like when a striker hits a penalty down the middle. Statistically it's the best penalty with the greatest chance of going in, but if the keeper doesn't move you look like a right bellend when he just catches it.

That thing he does where he switches the ball from one foot to the other mid dribble at ridiculous speed to find abit of space or beat his man, I just can't get my head around it.

The way he takes the ball in his stride and his speed is unaffected must be a nightmare for defenders, and a dream for our players passing to him, as you can basically pass to him in any situation. I can't think of a time when he's received the ball and not done something with it, be it lay it off or do a dribble he rarely ever just immediately loses it with a bad touch or gets tackled.

In regards to his finishing, I think hes lethal. Start of the season everyone was saying most matches we weren't creating chances for him, he's isolated and so on. We've only really just started to 'click' and we're now seeing the chances start to flow, he's just warming up and has still kept good pace with the other 'top' strikers due to the teams form imo. That hatrick was him turning into Sub Zero, just watch. Dude can score in so many ways that others wouldn't even bother attempting.

Isak's #1 fan x

"Newcastle United, aware of the interest in their star, will not let him go easily. However, PSG are willing to submit an offer close to 100 million euros, a figure that could make the English team hesitate, especially if they have plans to reinvest in their squad to continue competing at the highest level."

I assume hesitate can be loosely translated as piss ourselves laughing?

Yes. Euros? How about 140M quid.

Let’s be honest, if he’s leaving us then he’s going to only leave to be the main man at one of the major clubs, and he’s going for mega money.

He’s not going to go to the farmers league for a few quid more than we paid for him.

We’d be looking for a record fee for a player bought from a Premier League club, and rightly so.

Hopefully though he wants to stay and make himself a legend here.

His missed 1 v 1 yesterday was similar technique to what he did on his second v Spurs last season. He quickly changes it to a right footed shot and tries to just hit a stinger.
