Wonder if Liverpool's leaky backline might start to cost them as the season goes on. Obviously they're scoring for fun to cover up for it at the minute but if Salah goes off the boil they might be in bother. Hope so.

Think they are winning the title by default, the gap at the top is getting too big.

Also has to be mentioned that the interviewer said in the question 'so do you put that down to the fact you're so short of your first choice defence really' - He literally gave Ange an out in the question, then Ange was a bit of a dick to him.

Seems to be a trend with these 'phliosphy' managers at the moment that won't deviate away at all from their way of playing even if it's clearly costing the side.

The amount of sides playing either crazy high lines or trying to play it out from the back when they don't have the players to do so seems at an all time high. Reminiscent of the Bundesliga a few years ago when every side tried to just manically press and ship loads of goals each week

Perfectly valid question tbh, if he's got that many injuries then perhaps adjusting a few things to mitigate it is probably the right thing to do. Giving his defence a bit more cover is just good management even if it takes away from the play going forward. Just saying 'we're going to be open as fuck and bomb on for 90 minutes' regardless of opposition, venue or scoreline is clearly thick as fuck. Might be entertaining for the neutral but it's not very pragmatic. You play the hand you're dealt and tweak things to give yourself the best chance of getting the best results possible with the players that are fit. He's showing himself up on and off the pitch atm
