I’m not convinced Madrid are out of this.

If any team is capable of winning a 2nd leg 4-0 then it’s them, and if any team is capable of letting a sure thing slip through in the 2nd leg, then it’s Arsenal.

I would’ve agreed until I saw how terrible Madrid played last night.

See this rotten behaviour from most fan bases tbf.

I remember a video of PSG fans making their way home after the 4-0 thrashing at Newcastle, and as they walked past a bar or pub they were getting drinks thrown all over them, which was arguably worse.

did you see some of the shite happening to our fans in Paris? they're doing the same to Villa fans today. bunch of cunts

not to mention the stabbing in Milan. these European "ultras" are total whoppers. a pint being thrown or some childish goading is nothing compared to what they dish out

Not to excuse it, but there was videos of PSG fans hitting people in the streets of Newcastle before the match.

What if Rice just decides to rifle 5 free kicks into the top corner though?

He’s having a poor season.

He’s had more big performances in the latter stages of the CL than nearly all of those at 24. More CL goals and assists than the likes of Hazard or Mane already.

Saying that He should play for Mbappe the way he did for Benzema. Mbappe is the better player.

I only watch him a handful of times each season, so my impression doesn't have a great deal of depth to it; but on the eye he doesn't emanate that kind of quality and mastery those mentioned in my initial post did. Each of them often looked a level above their peers, technically and mentally - Vinicius doesn't seem to have that touch of lasting class beyond fleeting moments.

Those PSG fans were walking past without causing any bother.

How do you now they had anything to do with the ultras?!

I'm sorry, but that is ridiculous.

And so after the game they're all fair game? Even the ones just going about their business? Ridiculous.

And so if we end up drawing them in future and you go over there, and are going about your business not causing trouble, if you get smacked across the head, then don't complain!

What a prick. Just beaten one of the best teams in world football, and you behave like that. Fucking hate this side of football. Show some humility ffs.

Not at all, like I said, not to excuse it. I was only suggesting that people were antagonised that day. It doesn’t make it right, but also it indicates that it wasn’t a simple case of mindless gourding.

Be laughs if Rice never hit another free kick ever again.

His corners have consistently been so good for a good while now, that I think there's a natural talent he has with striking a dead ball.

The question really is why he hasn't been on those more in the past.

Not sure I recall him taking too many direct ones.

was just offering you a bit of perspective. tensions were high in town after the way their fans were carrying on, and how we were treated in Milan.

a pint being thrown is absolutely nothing compared to being attacked in bars and stabbed

not like you to have a strong opinion on something you haven't got a clue about, mind.

ridiculous, good grief etc.

The set piece nonce was against it I suppose. Hopefully he used up two fingers on the monkeys paw last night. Second free kick was as good a placement as is humanly possible the prick.

I think it just becomes an endless tit for tat once you start retaliating against random folks that had nothing to do with any of the initial trouble.

The whole thing is an impossible mess for anyone that just wants to travel, enjoy a nice trip and watch some football.

I agree, like I said I wasn’t justifying it.

Ancelotti is the don so maybe - RM were poor yesterday as opposed to Arsenal being great (Free Kicks aside)
