Yep, fair comments. Needless to say, ten defeats gets you absolutely nowhere near the title race. 

 

That very competent middle tier of teams is arguably the key to it all, really. The good thing about them is that they're capable of taking plenty points off the challengers. I guess my theory is that the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and City will drop points to that lot next season too, and there'll be more sides in the title race as a result.

We’ve lost the midfield battle against far too many of the mid-table sides. Something that needs to be looked at. As much as we all love Joelinton he’s the one that has to make way.

Agreed to some extent. Slower central defences than ours have won the league, to be fair. If we can’t control the game in the middle of the park we’ll always be vulnerable to losing against the bigger sides.

Joelinton off the ball is top quality. Joelinton on the ball is very hit and miss.

Arsenal fans whinging about the Evanilson goal being a handball, even though Odegaard is all over him. If they're going down that route, red card for Odegaard for denying a goal scoring opportunity and penalty to Bournemouth. Or yellow and penalty, whatever the hell the rule is now..
