They are shite imo. They've had a good spell from the points deduction up to last weekend but they started the season shite and they're starting to lose games again. They're the sort of side who'd have done well to get 42 points without a deduction, with it, they need someone like Luton to not reach 33.

They lost to Spurs away and Man City home ffs.

They are not shite and without the points deduction, would be nowhere near a relegation battle.

Earlier in the season they were without Calvert Lewin and Harrison.

Foden is such a ridiculously good footballer

Has started a lot more games this season. Thought he'd have produced more than he has, be interesting to see what he ends up with by the end of the season.

If you think Everton winning 4 in a row is something they're capable of normally, based on their last 3 years then fair do. I think 45 points is about what they'd be expected to finish on, that equals 35 this year so it'll be borderline whether that's enough to save them.

It's his standard response to anything he and his defence do, good or bad! ?

I noticed he doubled down on the passion right before his error, hilariously enough.

Think Everton will be comfortably mid table.

Any talk of them going down is ridiculous imo. That ship has, unfortunately, sailed.

They're 1 point off the relegation zone and played one more game than Luton

Next 5 games you couldn't say with confidence that any mid-table, bottom-half team would get say 5 points. They're in a battle, they needed that 4 game streak just to cancel out the points deduction. 45 points is about right for a side like that but that might not good enough.

They are not the same team anymore and have a real manager who suits them well. They have deserved most of their wins and been really unlucky in some losses, like the 0-3 to Man United and some in the early season when they were struggling to score goals.

This team fights for 7-10 spots in the league without the deduction IMO and would be more comparable to the West Ham team of the past few years than the Everton of the past few years.

That's with -10 points applied. They'd be 10th without that.

Just based on that and expected form you'd expect them to make up the places.

Not saying it can't happen but it seems very unlikely.

So are you just ignoring the 10 point deduction now ???

To say it's ridiculous to suggest they could get relegated doesn't make any sense when they're literally one point and place above the relegation zone.

I don't really understand the "they'd be 10th without the points deduction" or they'd be mid table on expected points

The most important stat seems to be they're 17th with Luton breathing down their neck

It can happen but bookies give it like a 15% chance despite the table.
