Put the US commentary on. Sounds like Jon Chanpion and Graeme Le Saux. Miles better than Drury’s Sinister Six nosh-off.

Nah, sacked it off. I'm cooking scran anyway so left her watching Special Ops: Lioness (Yank garbage)

Peter Dury:

If you were to ask me to name three brilliant football commentators, I probably wouldn't say Motson, Davies.….I'd go Chaucer, Shakespeare, Dickens, Milton

All part of the PL/Sky/Cartel hyperbole.

This is it. TV coverage full of ex players of said clubs. Commentators are fans of said clubs.

Even listening to the earlier match on the radio, I didn’t even know that Southampton were playing.

It’s done on purpose. Those neutral fans, let’s push them to the big clubs, those fans in different countries, get your Liverpool/Man Utd/Arsenal/Chelsea/Spurs scarfs.

Look at the coverage today. Super Sunday consisting of the countries 2 most successful clubs, up against the favourites for relegation. One of those clubs are in the position they are now because 10 years ago they had to sell all their decent players to the team they were up against today.

Motson was shit, utter fucking shit, he was just an older version of Drury.

People seemed to like him because he had that old fashioned voice that everyone in sports commentary had since the invention of the radio, and because by the time he retired, was an old man.

Motson was hilariously biased to London clubs.

Man Utd diving is insane [emoji38]

Who rolls around that many times as a reaction to getting hurt? It doesn't even make sense unless the injury they suffered is a full body burn.

Probably, but if no one is around to see you, you’re hitting Bambi instead.

Nothing says ‘I’m really injured by that tackle’ better than a half dozen rolls on the floor :anguish:

What about a full dozen rolls?
