The elbow/non-elbow just reminded me of that time Tony Adams remonstrated an elbow on him with the elbow motion to the referee and accidentally caught Mark Bright behind him and got sent-off. Could only happen to him that.

I didn't realise that was the end of PL football on Prime - shame - did a good job and helped add value to Prime.:mou:

They still have champions league games.

Prime's package, which included all Boxing Day fixtures and another mid-week round of games, was removed from the latest round of bidding.

Football is just so corrupt

It's definitely much more relaxed now.  We play on the 26th, 30th and 4th, whereas back in the day it was common to play the Thursday and then 2 days later on the Saturday. In 2004/05 we had 4 PL matches in 8 days, including a Thursday-Saturday turnaround on NYD and the following Saturday:

Good riddance.  Anything to do with Amazon needs throwing into the sun.

Because SkySports and TNT are so much better for the consumer

Hang on, you need a 3rd subscription to be able to view Prime games so less subscriptions is better for the consumer.  Amazon just buy these games as a loss leader for Prime to get people into another subscription that they don't need.

I'm not disagreeing with that first point. There are way to many subscriptions needed these days, that fuck over the common person.

But, to me personally, what Prime offer is so much better than that of Sky and TNT, the little things like being able to switch off commentary, the ease at which you can watch the games, the highlights and stats being build into the video player, the "Quick-Recap" if you are tuning into a game halfway through, not to mention, every game in a match week was viewable, and didn't have the likes of Drury and Neville stinking up the joint.

I honestly can't wait for the day Sky Sports loses the rights to the Premier League, and when they do, hopefully its to a service that offer atleast the above, even if its not Amazon as they have their own massive issues.

Yeah, the quality of the production is better (the companies outsource that btw but obviously they point in the direction of how they do it).  Beggars belief how Sky etc think Neville and Drury is what fans like.

Neville is/was fine in small doses. When he first went onto Sky he was a lot better than the pundits that went before him. It’s just you can’t escape him now and he loves the sound of his own voice. If he’s not doing podcasts he’s on Dragons Den or doing Labour’s promo video with Starmer.

Him and Carragher should be allowed on Liverpool / Man Utd games.

I don’t know about youze guys but it’s an honor to watch this Dutch goalkeeping battle.

I am really said to see Verbruggen was able to go the distance here and Flekken was hauled off for being a soft cunt.

AWS is canny, Neesy mate. [emoji38] I say that as someone who works with GCP 95% of the time.

I work with AWS as well, just because I work with it doesn't mean I have to like them (i hate 95% of the tech industry).

Watching Empoli - Genoa and I can’t imagine having to sit behind the constant giant flag waving in the home and away ends.

I suppose being off your tits in the away end with the ultras would be the preferred situation and the game has been grim viewing, so maybe that’s why they do it. [emoji38]

Had no idea Patrick Veira turned up in Serie A, nice to see him still managing.
