OpenC
Don't get the disdain for Forest. Of course they're not great, but they've had a fucking brilliant season and it obviously hasn't just been luck the whole time. Actual evidence that the game can still be played at a high level by a well drilled team with no 'purples' to speak of and a little old stadium. I don't know what's not to like, would have loved to see them win the cup.

El Prontonise
Semi finals are wembley are a joke, good to see city fans showing it with disdain when they'll need to return in only 4 weeks time for the final.

They've carried luck with hardly any injuries and not playing well and winning anyway but they still deserve the credit. With black and white glasses on, all they've done is increase the competition in an already competitive top 5. Would be happy with them replacing a Chelsea not being added to the mix

Optimistic Nut
Don't hate Forest but I want them to fail for our benefit obviously. If we were guaranteed top 4 for example, I'd love to see them finish 5th.
54
I can understand why people are complaining about some empty seats in the Man City end, it wouldn't be like that if it where a Newcastle game, but I can kind of understand it. A trip to Wembley isn't an event for them, they've been here so many times recently, that they'll very likely be numb to it, especially when the trophy isn't on the line, it's a semi-final. I'm fairly certain the final will sell out. Add in the fact it's late on a Sunday, people have work tomorrow and trains are likely to be either not running or arrive in Manchester late, and that tickets are £80 a pop, with travel expenses being a similar amount, and that we're in a cost of living crisis, I can understand why some didn't want to make the trip, especially when this isn't the main event. It's the main reason the semi-finals shouldn't be at Wembley.

Novocastrian
God what a bore fest at Anfield. When I was in the navy my boss for a brief time was Les Maguire the keyboard player from Gerry and the Pacemakers. I never did ask him about his pop career.
