Liverpool felt more inevitable tbh.

Suppose there's something to it, still. They're just this boring juggernaut hoovering up all the flair and draining the color from their play.

Its the conflation of the inevitability of the usual suspects continuing to spend vast sums under rules that were brought in because spending money suddenly became a bad thing for me

Spurs are absolutely rubbish aren't they.  Fuming we conceded the worst goal ever to them

Imagine how bad they'd be if they hadn't won the worst Europa final of all time

Absolute state of Spurs. Got absolutely rancid fixtures in February as well, only 7 clear of 18th. Could get dragged into a relegation battle.

Should’ve just kept Ange at this point.

Imagine if Spurs went down?

I mean I don’t think it would happen this year, but they could be not far from it 2 years in a row and that’s circling the drain territory.

I’d imagine the Premier League would end up deducting points from a random club for breaches of a newly introduced rule in 1960 or something just to save them.
