Villa really have hit a brick wall. Their next six league games are probably the easiest six you could have mind, before finishing against Liverpool and Man City. They really need to get out of their slump and make some hay in the coming weeks.

Villa have been really average all season though. Certainly at best they've been no better than us in terms of performances - which is reflected in them massively over performing their xG in respect to points haul. This run of results just feels to me like an return to the mean.

PSG were supposed to play Nantes today but apparently asked to and were allowed to postpone the game because of their CL schedule. How is this allowed?

Not really anything that can be done if a national governing body wants to indulge their teams. Qarabag did the same, which seemed to help them a bit in the second leg.

As much as I hate L'pool I want Spurs to go down....and judging by Ivan Tudors comments pre kick off....he wants the same! 🤷🏻‍♂️🫠

Villa have rode their luck all season and the world is just righting itself. Genuinely think we still have an outside chance of CL if we can put a run together now with everyone else seemingly all over the place, looks like we're discovering some form at the right time.

If we get knocked out by Barca and the fixtures ease, then I’m confident we can go on a strong run.

Go deep into the CL, then I think we will struggle to get a CL place through the Prem.

Bodø/Glimt got their game yesterday postponed due to their return fixture in Lisbon on Tuesday, and the Norwegian top division only started yesterday

Neville does the Man U match and Carragher takes over for the Liverpool game now. Nice and impartial stuff from sky here, sure the balanced coverage will continue for the next couple of hours

Ferguson tried to get it done here in the middle of a title race in 96/97. Its where the whole Wenger spat seemed to start.

Anfield like a library, shocking atmosphere by the sounds

every time you get to see the front rows on a throw in or something it's very obvious that it's full of people who aren't usually there just watching it through their phones

No doubt Man U and Liverpool fans bitched about the Wrexham owners on comms as an alternative Friday night too.
