If they win the Europa League and miss out on the Champions League placing via the league, then it will be good for us as it will be another team to get the coefficient up next year and get another 5th place. MagPar
My other team update: My Scottish team, Dunfermline are now 4 points clear in 4th place in the Championship. 4th place is the final play off place. We beat 'local' rivals Raith 3 nil yesterday. We have also drawn F*lkirk (currently in top 6 of the SPL) in the semi final of the Scottish Cup. Anybody with good geographical knowledge will think that Raith or Cowdenbeath were our fiercest rivals but they'd be wrong. F*lkirk are our fiercest rivals by a c*ntry mile. They're only 18 miles away and in the 33 years that I've been a Pars fan it's always been an ugly rivalry with those inbred 6 fingered freaks. Regularly fighting for promotion and avoiding relegation alongside them, but the real kicker is the gentleman in my photo. Norrie McAthie whom died of carbon monoxide poisoning at the tender age of 27. To this day F*lkirk fans still sing offensive songs about Mr Dunfermline, our club captain for pretty much his whole career. That shit ain't remotely cool. A few years after Norrie died one of their young lads died in an accident involving an electric fence. We didn't songs about him, we were sympathetic. I'll be very depressed if we lose to them. *# *Gary Riddell, also died in my time as a Pars fan. He was 23 and dropped dead of a heart problem during a half marathon raising money for the Hillsborough disaster. #Norrie unfortunately died in very unflattering circumstances which I wont go into (nothing noncey or rapey). Hopefully at least one person found this post interesting. If not....

Nah, virtually impossible for us to drop out now, and even Villa or Forest going deep in the Europa League would go a long way to securing it. Yorkie
Villa one win in seven in the league since they turned us over. They're fast reaching a point where they might decide to 'Spurs it', flunk the league and go all in for the Europa. They could feasibly max out their efforts in both and end up with neither. Paullow
Been a good set of results this weekend. Not perfect as would have been nice had Forest have won, but we've moved up 3 places with a much harder fixture on paper than all of the sides we have passed. Sunderland losing always a bonus. Doesn't really affect us, but not sure what I'm hoping for in the 4.30pm match.

A draw, big brawl with 2 red cards a piece which was started by a foul leading to a nice 6 week rest for Ekitike then another red for Liverpool/VVD going off injured at the death. Slot exploding just an added benefit. Failing that may as well go for a record premier League score to put Spurs GD right in the shitter
