Lastly, I don’t think Haaland is the right striker for city. He’ll score goals in any side he plays in but the way they play they need him to have touches, interplay and build the ball with possession. He’s not that player, he shines when teams are stretched

Said for a long time he doesn’t suit pep’s style of play. He’d suit our setup, let’s do a swap deal with Isak, I’m sure Eddie could turn him into a less one dimensional striker 🤣

Similar problems to last season for City, right back a problem, Haaland doesn't do enough and they are so vulnerable on transitions

Apart from when they play us of course, they are imperious then

Hopefully this is the season we don’t treat them like it’s Man City of 2018-2021.

Donnarumma clearly a great keeper but aren’t his flaws exactly what Pep got rid of keepers like Hart for?

He’s the modern De Gea, will make loads of mint saves, match winning ones  but his kicking/sweeping etc will always cause trouble for how these teams want to play. Just feels like a weird pick up for Pep.

Spurs under Frank are going to be a problem.

I understand some people's animosity informed who they wanted to win the Europa final, but anyone who rooted for Spurs with Newcastle self-interest at heart was crackers.

Six very financially strong competitors remain instead of maybe five. Man Utd were always going to be immune to failure given their starting point.
