It does appear he leaned more on Klopp's previous setup last year, likely because he wasn't able to sign any players last summer. Turns out he's much more of a side to side passing super slow build up manager, now he's playing his own tactic. I still think we'll have a good season, but various setbacks we've had have denied us momentum. I hope we do not see them echoing onward and leading to further issues, like they did in the previous CL season when it was injury after injury. Allison has saved them from some bad losses in the last two games. Their attack looks good, but the midfield is just okay, and the defense is terrible. It's like City last year, they started strong, getting good results even when they played poorly, and then it all fell apart. I think Liverpool will have a similar slump in October, November, and December. Isak was a fancy buy, and I guess they had to get him after he went on strike, but they should have fixed their defense and midfield instead. Lets see how they fair at Chelsea this weekend.
