It sounded like it was the billionaire owner of the horse, JP McManus. Or it was the usual bullshit fake ticket to drum up some interest and a story.

If they’ve got £100k to chuck on an 8/1 horse then they’ve clearly got a fuckload of lowey already and £100k probably isn’t that much to them.

 

And for every £100k 8/1 bet they put on how many big bets do they lose ? Consistently successful gamblers are usually either mathematics and statistics nerds, or organised criminals. 

 

The richest woman in Britain owns a bookies and pays herself £280,000,000 a year. You do the math.
