In my entire life, I think I've seen that rule enforced once (At home V Man City if I remember correctly), absolutely pointless change.

Did my TOONdle this morning and it was a 4 letter surname. 

 

Did the first guess and only the second letter was correct. 

Had serious brain fog so just hoyed a random in as second guess which was accepted as a genuine player even tho I had no idea. 

Got the correct player third time and it turns out my second guess was his actual forename 😜

Formation changed on day of game

Ahead of their previous game, a 4-0 defeat by Brentford last Friday, Van Nistelrooy eventually decided on a 4-3-3 formation for which the players had not prepared during the week and that was announced on the day of the game. The team collapsed in the first half, prompting Van Nistelrooy to lament that the gap between his side and their visitors that day had been too great. Behind the scenes there had been disquiet.

Telegraph Sport has been told that, although there was a change to the formation communicated late on, it was nothing more than what was described as a “tweak” and the kind that would often be made in-game by a manager. I'll be amazed if Ruud is still there after the international break. Nah, actually I won't be, given the absolute state of the way that club is run.

If changing the rule reminds refs they’re supposed to be doing their job, I’m all for it.
