I can’t believe he called him a great person and team mate!

WTF!

I used to slate good mates when they failed to turn up on a Sunday for football due to being coked out their nut from the day before! This supposedly great person and team mate has been on strike for six weeks and downed tools last season!

Idiotic comment that!

Poor for a dozen game, inability to control himself resulting in two recent straight red cards, and now sending a heartwarming message to the cunt who's potentially irreparably damaged our progress. Moron almost deserves to be booed. He better fucking turn it around when he returns.

You guys are out of your god damn minds.

  last weekend really sent this place into one of the worst tailspins I've seen in 20 years on here. When he scores for them, I expect another nose dive.

I didn't like the insta post - Gordon's a smart lad - he knew what he was doing.  For me he was validating that it was ok for Isak to behave like that - even though it cost the team points.  I wonder why.

I guess as a club we reap what we sow.

I don't care about the social media posts from him or Botman.

What I care more about is that on his day, he can be unplayable, but it's also matched by periods where he is inconsistent or reckless.

You could argue that getting stupidly sent off, messing up the game plan and then being unavailable for key games could cost as many points as Isak probably did.

I still don't want it to happen but if we're getting to the point where we need to trade players to upgrade the team, he'd currently be one of those I'd be a bit less bothered about if he went.

Either way he needs to have a good season now to make up for those sending offs.

From what I remember, I recall being dubious that he was the one behind any so called strike as Everton's board were behaving very badly at the time, were in deep PSR doodoo and so needed the sale, and needed to shift the fans' blame from themselves for selling their golden boy and their general mismanagement of the club. Ashley stuff, basically.

No idea if true but according to the replies they both had their picture taken with a fan and the fan was cropped out.

If true someone was clearly trying to cause exactly this reaction.

Plot twist: the true fan was Gordon all along.
