I think it can work but I figure Hall doesn’t have the size to compete at CM at the elite level despite playing there throughout development. Trippier was the same - you can tell - extremely tidy on the ball. Anderson played LW at a lower level professionally. Lacks that bit of pace and quicker feet to play LW at an elite level but at CM he becomes one of the silkiest and dynamic. Think the same is true for Miley. Feet way too slow to play as a 10. But a box crashing 6 or 8? Boy can go to the top. Think Mikey could also be a top fullback if he starts to specialise now. He progresses and distributes the ball so well at FB. Great stamina. Massive goal threat. Just lacks a bit of acceleration and doesn’t know the position too well.
HawK
His ball retention is elite, I think it'd be a waste of his best attribute to not having him control possession and soak pressure in the middle for us

Still time to show it. Anderson didn’t show it with us. But what impresses me most about Anderson is he’s skilful for a CM - press resistant AND plays it forward accurately consistently. Haven’t seen that yet from Mikey. But as mentioned, Anderson didn’t show it for us at that age either.
HawK
I was all in on Anderson from his early days before he went to Bristol Rovers and then he tore is up as a young lad against grown men down there. I get similar thoughts about Miley to be honest. Time will tell, nothing is guaranteed but I'd hope we have the courage to persist with him in the middle to learn his trade. For our own team right now, to have a progression from back to front of Hall, Miley into Wolte with Bruno as well let's us play through teams potentially. Something we don't do often enough and just swing it out wide and hope for the best.

Bayern Munich directors are said to have believed that Barca were bluffing in their negotiations with Gordon and that news of their talks was purposely leaked to pressure Manchester United into lowering their asking fee for Marcus Rashford. Kimbo Posted Friday at 07:27 Share Posted Friday at 07:27 Bidding way below what would be an acceptable price because that’s what they value the player at seems a strange tactic that will only work in specific circumstances.

Village Idiot Posted Friday at 08:35 Share Posted Friday at 08:35 So we're rich again? Anyway, tell me what can I expect from him. We do lack wing depth, but that's a lot of money for just depth. I suppose we don't see Raphinha staying for longer than one more season.
