Tiresias
Getting the players who want out gone early is probably worth £10m tbh if last year taught us anything

Always thought he came across really well in interviews and spoke pretty smartly. This. We improved him, he improved us. Happy to cash in right now and wish him well. Other than the odd red card, rash decision and a ton of misplaced lazy passes, I have enjoyed him being here. Seems like a good lad in general. While we can, I am not convinced we will upgrade on him.
MagPar
It's a good point about waiting until after the World Cup. He could have a great World Cup and add 20-30 million to his fee,but he could also have an awful tournament or get injured. Probably too high of a risk v reward factor to wait until after the WC. Let's hope he has a stinky summer. Saying that, I hope every English player has a stinker.

Wut.
Disco
Good news for Matty “the real cash” Targett who had a Gordon leaving bonus in his contract.

A 25yr old England international, with CL experience should have been another £10m on top of that, especially if there was other interest. Not really sure on why we sold prior to the World Cup when his value could potentially increase even further if he has a decent tournament. The only redeeming point is that it means it won't drag on and any negativity from him will be negated. He's also got years left on his contract

Cf
Whilst I would have no objection to a fully motivated Gordon staying with us and being part of the squad I can't help but think he thinks he's better than he is. If he is to go then the numbers being quoted sound fair to me and hopefully we also have incomings lined up early as well as outgoings. Main lesson from last season I think was get your business done early.

It’s not poor IMO. £65m plus was what I was hoping/expecting. So £70m plus whatever these add ons are is fine by me. Could have pushed for a bit more, perhaps. But he’s made it clear he wants out and no point having another long, drawn out transfer saga this summer.

Stottie
39 goals, 12 of them pens, 28 assists. 7 game winning goals. Scored against the mackems, but it will be forgotten unlike the lads who scored winners against them. Beautiful for him to wait one more season, play for us in the CL and then get the move Isak wanted, on what sounds like more wedge than Isak. If one of our obstacles was to get enough PSR headroom to unleash the PIF cash cannon, we must be there or thereabouts now. I just hope PIF are still interested. Stottie
With Lewa's age, it'll be interesting to see if Flick uses Gordon up the middle. In the future, if not necessarily straight away. I reckon Bayern may have also seen him as a future 9. Kane's skillset is a one-off, that vision and long passing!, so they won't find a direct replacement. Yeah that will help for sure, as will chasing players which are more realistic, basically not the ones cartel clubs have been linked with.
