Financial Fair Play / Profit & Sustainability - New APT Rules Approved by Premier League

Recommended Posts

Team gets to abuse financial rules and build a dominant trophy winning machine and then 10 years later likely just get a telling off.

We've already seen, their expensive lawyers will beat whatever is thrown at them unfortunately.

Could be a bit of a win-win for us. Either Man City get the book thrown at them or the Prem get their arses handed to them.

Very true if it’s a slap on the wrist only then the worry about ffp goes right out the window

Will believe it when I see actual punishments like. Hopefully none of this is anything our overlords were planning on doing and getting away with [emoji38]

If anything this makes our stance of being the only club that seems to actually bother following FFP seem quite prescient

Don’t think they will be able to strip titles etc from player and coach CVS unless they were individually culpable.

Aguero, Silva, Toure regardless of what Man City did still had to go out and win football matches

Were the titles given to the runners up or just annulled?  Are we gonna get an open top bus parade through Liverpool with Wijnaldum etc waving the 2018/19 trophy about?

2004/2005 was annulled, 05/06 awarded to Inter.
