I just don’t think he’s ready for a serious squad role at this point and he would benefit from going out on loan. Plodder is far too harsh. He ended up playing 306 minutes in all tournaments. I guess he was injured last summer, and then didn't want (or manage) to loan him out in january? Through injury or selection, most people feel that Anderson didn't get enough game time to develop at Newcastle at any point. He never got close to 1800 minutes for us.
