Hughesy
It's quite interesting that despite our academy being seemingly terrible for years, we could end up with a first team squad containing Longstaff, Anderson and Miley. Obviously there's a long way to go with Anderson and Miley, but it would be a surprise if they didn't end up having good (and potentially very good) careers in the PL. Skeletor
And Longstaff would probably be even better than he is if it wasn't for Steve Bruce.

The Academy had a seachange in philosphy, moving away from training athletes into footballers, around 10-12 years ago. Moving away from the likes of Andy Mogwo's and instead looking to improve the already technically good players. Not say that's what we're seeing now, but hey. Maybe. Not to mention shortstaff. He was considered to be the better prospect of the two but the bacon chasing fuckwit destroyed any possible chance of that happening. Wallace
Also very fortunate that their development has happened post Ashley and Bruce. Ashley would sell at the first offer whilst Bruce would have destroyed them.

Toon No9
Swedish pundit and former Leicester defender Pontus Kåmark today likend Miley to Patrick Vieira. Same atributes and calmness. Haven't thought about that before, but he's not totaly wrong there maybe...

Ginola
He's the real deal. His reading of the game for someone so young is exceptional
La Parka
How is he only 17. He looks incredible. It must help having trips there on his side but he's absolutely fantastic at moving the ball, even cut out a few counters well.

KaKa
This boy is frighteningly good. Aside from Bruno, he has the best composure, decision making and use of the ball of all our midfielders. Ludicrously talented.
