The College Dropout
Still just 18. Crazy. He’s got all the technical attributes and a great size now. Could go up a level or two physically. I think that’s what he needs to start dominating games.
Sibierski
Start of many in the side now.
Sibierski
And if he was at a Sky Big 6, he’d be getting raved about loads.
MagMal
I like Miley but when we play him and Bruno together we do seem to lose something and balls do get played through midfield more, could it be that they are to similar?, I would like to see a game with him replacing Bruno rather than alongside and see how we look. I think that has more been Willock being lightweight. Despite the limp second half we looked much better with Tonali at the base of the three with Miley and Bruno further up. Smal
he’s really good, just have to figure out how to get him more involved in our play really.

toontownman
He barely put a foot wrong today. When he got in trouble he worked his way out. Really, calm, composed performance and showed pace a couple of times I didn't think he had. Cracking touch and finish for the goal. Such an exciting prospect for us and hopefully a ton more to come. christ
First half he was different gravy. Second he dropped off a bit, much like those around him.
J7
Very good. I’d like him to take a shot more often when he has space at the edge of the box though. First intention is to play it wide, but he strikes the ball so well you’d think he’d be a better taking the shot on on occasion.
Yorkie
For all his promise last season he basically never looked a goal threat; it looks like he may already be addressing that with two excellent finishes so far this year. Still don't think he's ready to be depended on because he still can't affect a game for a full 90 minutes, but definitely share everyone's excitement. That's two home appearances from him now where he's dragged us back into the game after falling behind.
gbandit
Thought he was class save for a nervy couple of touches early on and that stray pass in the second half. Surprised by how good he is in the air. Obviously he’s tall but he looks so much stronger this season

Lush Vlad
Superb today I thought. Feel like he should play deeper than Bruno, mind and today confirmed that.

Rafalove
Played well, as others have said he plays cautiously. Not too much of a bad thing at this stage. Good that it looks like he has more that can come from him.
Pilko
He lost it cheaply a couple of times early doors but after the goal (lovely take it easy too) he was great I thought, seemed to really settle into it.
gbandit
Think our best midfield is Bruno more advanced and then Miley, with Tonali sitting deepest. Bruno is our best slide rule passer and has the best vision. Tonali is the best defensively and snuffing out attacks. He’s also the best at increasing our tempo and getting the ball moving quickly, he can release the ball in any direction. Miley is just great at receiving the ball, holding it and releasing. He’s not got Tonali’s physical attributes or Bruno’s vision but he’s extremely good at holding the ball and feeding the ball out wide. He’s also got a quality strike on him. In games where we need to break down teams he’s a better option than Jow. In games where we need to defend against teams on the break a lot then Jow is probably preferable
Newcastle Fan
I'm a big fan of him ever since he started playing with the first team, he's so calm and composed and does all the right things on the pitch, this season he's been bailing out the more senior place when things go wrong, looking forward to seeing more of him and his development. Smal
I think he does have the vision of Bruno tbh, think that’s his strongest asset. His ball striking looks really good too. Not got great defensive awareness and isn’t as aggressive in tackles as I’d want him to be to play deeper. Imo he’ll end up best as the most advanced midfielder of a 3, which is where he’s played most for the youth teams afaik.

Perhaps vision is the right word, he is very good at seeing players and knowing who’s available and where to pass it. I just don’t think he’s shown that ability to slide passes in that cut through a back line like Bruno does. Miley’s general passing is extremely good
