Was stood in the very last row of Level 7 tonight in the safe standing bit. :lol:

 

Atmosphere was canny at times, but nowt special. Was surprised how much you could hear from the Strawberry Corner all the way up there.

Aye I was level 7 also, bang in the middle of the Leazes. Great view, stood all game and thought the atmosphere was okay at times up there. 

Don’t get the beef people have with level 7, some of my best memories at SJP were in the old Leazes Corner before Ashley spat his Byker dummy out.

4th time bagging a ticket for a cup game/Champions League in the Milburn. 4th time I've been asked how I've got their mates ticket.

 

To be fair one of the guys next to me was decent craic. The other was disappointed he only got to moan about Miggy for 20 odd minutes.

Happens to me every time in the east stand too. Then them saying it’s a shame their mate/brother/grandad gave up their ticket and doesn’t sit there every week. It’s pretty annoying.

From where I was it seemed that there was maybe 3 songs (not repeated use bur just 3 songs) all night from our neighbours in the East Stand and Gallowgate.

 

The fact that folk choose to wallow in their own potential misery is passed me like. I don't get it. Enjoy the moment. Have hope. Without hope there is nothing.

 

You can mope around saying "what about those other teams" or you cna actually just give them a fucking go like.

Was in the L7 corner and thought it was decent tbf. First time up there and it’s genuinely impressive how it contains the noise even from the Strawb Corner.

Was stood in Strawberry Corner right on the DMZ between the East Stand seats and the GEC safe standing

 

Our block were singing most of the game, no booming cheerleaders having to work hard to create the noise, just a willingness from everyone stood around me to sing and give vocal support 

 

Desperately need more of that elsewhere in the ground

Immediately thought this too, suppose its a slight bit of complacency, we hadn't been to a semi since 1976, this was third 1/4 final in a row in the league cup.  I think it was more open two years ago too, people seen Liverpool and Arsenal were winning around me and that sort of put a dampener on things, although it shouldn't have really as was to be expected.

Last night just proves we need more standing, those standing in returned away seats added far more than the leazes ever do actually getting a few songs going.

 

We seriously need a standing area in level 4 leazes until a ground move is sorted. Trust should be all over this...
