I actually think the referee not giving it in the first place saves us from the VAR call, in agreement with what you’ve said. Sure, he’s clearly always been a dickhead based on a bunch of people’s accounts but having a go at the owner, especially given how great this season’s been and taking a pop at people based on nothing on a public platform. It shows he has absolutely no ability to control himself anymore.
