I’m afraid Eddie has got this team choice all wrong. We’ve torn the last two opponents apart and he’s removed the main reason why. fair play to Brentford though

ASM is injured, not a mistake by Howe

3 mins added and ref doesn’t add any, absolute joke.

Took 6 mins for the second pen, 3 mins for the offside goal + Jansson down injured + Toney’s penalty miss.

Poor first half then?!

Brentford have been good imo. Think that first half is proof we need some extra creativity to break teams like this down. Hopefully either Eddie has a plan or Brentford come out poor in the second half. You can see clearly why they have only lost once at home this season.

We’ve been atrocious. Really poor.

Too many players in that lineup who *should* be out of their depth away to Brentford, in fairness.

We were quite bad for a while against West Ham as well, they were just generous to let us get on top.

err.. you dont need to kick someone in the head to be rewarded a foul

Isak missed the ball totally and kick him in the. stomach, it is a pen. It should be a pen for Schar last game too

Think that's bollocks. Isak goes for the ball, bloke runs in him. The fuck is Isak meant to do, make his foot disappear? It's soft as fuck, can't believe you'd think otherwise. The fact that it took 5 mins to check tells you everything

Eh?

ASM is injured. It’s a forced change.

It’s tricky because our normal style doesn’t involve keeping a lot of the ball and building slowly. Therefore we almost have no choice but to create the kind of game that Brentford want.

Is Joelinton on a yellow? Peacock stated he was, but can't see it anywhere else - and didn't see the ref card him.

NBC showed the graphic but I don’t think. It’s not listed in the stats and would have been a ridiculous booking.

Be tempted to get Gordon and Wilson on up there with Isak. This formation with these players is not working against them today.

Joelinton has been terrible wide left. I mean pretty much all of the players have been, in fairness.

Think now might be one of those times that Isak and Wilson should be on the pitch at the same time. Might as well try something, as we haven't looked good so far and don't have anything to lose.

Utterly shite VAR decision, but NUFC have put in their worst shift in yonks.  Joelinton and Murphy as wingers is always likely to be toothless, Longstaff at his most dawdling on the ball, Bruno not in the rhythm, Burn’s constant movement out of position is causing massive headaches at the back.  Massive kick up the arse required from Howe I think.

If you really believe that, there won’t be much penalty awarded at all, most of the fouls was because the defender “went for the ball” and the attacker got the ball first
