Been to Bruges a few times and based on the people I've spoken to our visit was a mix of good and bad (they might have been being kind because they knew I supported Newcastle) but they would happily never ever see another West Ham fan as long as they live.

Taking your passport to get into a football match is a joke like - might have too book more time off work when I lose it after Isak's hat-trick goal! Kept back for one hour and no booze inside the ground and hardly any bogs ha ha!

I'm not going but my mates received his ticket and the only mention of his name is in biro on the side ? surely that's not what they check the passport against?

Yup. ?

Wouldn’t be so sure of that. Are the details not on the QR code for Milan to match up and the handwritten names just for groups to know whose ticket is who? I could be wrong like but even so they won’t except altered names on tickets ?

Not sure tbh. Every game I've gone to in Italy the checks have took place before you get to the actual gate, with name on ticket crossreferenced with your ID when queuing to get in. You just scan your ticket in digitally when you get to the gate - nobody checks it at that final point.

My understanding will be that NUFC will have wrote these names on, and then sent back the details of each purchaser referenced to each ticket back to Milan so there is a record as required by law. This has obviously been necessitated by the quick turnaround of paper tickets (usually the name would be actually printed on the ticket itself).

If people are able to wipe the ink off the ticket and re-write the name I would say you have a pretty good chance of getting in. Not that I'd recommend such a process in a public sphere of course...

I was told that 6k Birmingham fans came the year prior to us and smashed the place up and that's why we got less tickets. Apparently, by comparison, they somewhat loved the majority of Newcastle fans as we drank a fair share and largely acted pleasantly despite the occasional, and inevitable knacker.

I was in Bennaz when the draw was made and I usually organise stuff so I left it in the hands of my 'capable' mates!

Milan - One of the lads driving to Edinburgh 1am Mon - 6am flight to Milan, Weds 9am - Milan to Edinburgh, then driving home

PSG - This is going to be some week! At the Darts at Minehead Weds to Mon then me and one of the lads flying Bristol to Paris 2.25pm, Weds 4.15pm Paris to Heathrow then on to Newcastle land at 9pm

So those two did well..............

Dortmund - Sun 10pm Newcastle to Dublin, Mon 7am Dublin to Dusseldorf, stopping there two nights (train to and from Dortmund match day), Weds 1.25pm Dusseldorf to Munich then on to Manchester then train to Newcastle arriving at midnight!  [emoji38]

Quite an adventure that last one - I love my Sunday sessions so I hope I get on the first flight [emoji38]

I've just found that my Milan iten was incorrect above...................

One of the lads driving to Edinburgh 1am Mon, 6am flight to London Gatwick, 9.30am flight to Milan; Weds 8.40am flight to Paris, 1.40pm flight to Edinburgh [emoji38]
