Hope ppl realise that Sandro has never appeared at a major tourney for Italy. He was banned during the euros, his country was last in the WC in 2014 when he was 12 years old.

You know that moment when youre driving and it's raining, then all of a sudden it isn't?

I admit that happened once, although not in England obviously due to the volume of rain there. I also must sheepishly admit I have indeed seen a player injured, miss a game, then get better for the next game.

He can't be arsed here. Get rid and get a great replacement who actually wants to be here.

I don’t know who can we get as a “great replacement”

And btw he played a completely different role for Italy. I don’t think he intentionally hide when playing for us.

sometimes I do wonder what’s exactly the division of labour for our midfield 3 under Howe

Similar to how it started for Gordon. People make weird narratives up from very little and run with it as facts forever.

I do think we’ll sell one of our bigger names this summer and I guess him or Livramento are most likely. I don’t think if we lost one of them it’d have the same overall structural impact to the team like it did with Isak.

We definitely won’t. I think Tonali play 40 odd games this season and 40 odd games last. That’s a very good record. I get the frustration with not being available on Sunday though.

We won’t a trophy with him, got in to the champs league , if we sell him for £85m or so (which is what it’ll take) there’ll be no hard feelings from me. He hasn’t been great this season I don’t think and I can’t see if having a major effect on us given who else we’ve got in that position.

see ya.

I’m not really sure what he’s done wrong other than show a bit poor form; his passing has always been a bit hit and miss.

He was clearly out on his feet in the second half at Barca and clearly limping when he came off. It looked a minor knock and you could imagine he’d not be right on the Sunday but would be ok by the Thursday.

If he wants to go back to Italy I could understand that and if PSR means Man U can blow us out of the water on wages you can understand him going there. We know what the underlying problem is there.

Bottom line for me is really does he want to stay and is he committed? If not, learn from Isak and let’s just get it done. We have to operate better, buying and selling correctly has to be front and centre, especially with the constraints we face.

Man U will give him a massive contract and they look like they’ll be in the champions league, this is the reality of football thesedays. CL opportunity and massive wages increase talks.

What's a massive contract? We've a wage structure under INEOS now. If Tonali thinks he's going to get a Casemiro deal then we're the wrong club for him. It will be £180-200k, and if that's not enough for him we'd just move on to Wharton.

I do think a fans perspective is always the most important though. The reaction on here about this news has me a tad worried if we did sign him, as I was under the impression he was absolutely class.

He's perfect for what you need which is basically covering space left behind by your front 4. He covers ground extremely well and is quick to boot. Wasteful in possession for us but I think he really suits teams who want to play on transistion as he gets the ball and moves it quickly.

Defo added min £10M onto Arsenals buying price with that performance, the Lazarus levels of recovery are to be commended imo, remarkable turn of events

We would of won Sunday with this performance
