Tonali going from "best CM in the league" to "eh i guess he's fine" is arguably just as big of a reason for the overall quality decline in the team this season as Isak leaving was.

I think he's clearly unsettled and I don't think that's going to get any better with no European football next season. Sucks that it has to be this way, but even if he's not agitating to leave, we have to consider moving on and reinvesting on our end.

Magnificent work rate but his passing was pure gash.

He has got worse on the ball, I think. Either that or teams are making him worse in possession and/or we are starting to notice it more.

But he is an absolute demon off the ball. Stuff that won’t show up as a stat. But there was a break on early in the second half where he basically chased down and slowed 4 different West Ham players all on his own. His workrate is insanely good. I think he went off injured shortly after.

I think he’d be more useful to us on the left of a midfield two. Can cover for Hall when he is bombing on and drifting infield with some of his runs could cause bother. He has got a great shot on him and should really score more. Arguably the best striker of the ball in the team in terms of power.

If he is away or wanting to leave. Then he’s stayed professional to the end. Doesn’t seem like Gordon at all and definitely not like Isak.

Suggests he's injured and won't be playing Fulham then.

Aye, Eddie pretty much said as much after West Ham.

I was on the same flight as him back from Bergamo this morning, he’s apparently told someone that he’s fine for this weekend. He took photos with everyone who wanted them and sat and chatted to people on the flight, he seems like a proper good egg.

He looked fine when he went off tbh. No sign of an injury before that unless I missed something.

One of his best games in months as well so if it was his last game, at least he went out on a high.

It would be crackers to play any player in who you’re likely to sell at this point.  Why risk it?

Are we likely to sell him? I’m not that sure to be honest.

I really don't see why we would unless there's a club out there who will pay fair value. Italian clubs want him but don't have the money.

EPL clubs may be interested, but how many of them are prepared to pay what it would take to get him out of his contract here? When Elliott Anderson is being supposedly valued at £100m, what price Tonali?

He’s open to a move but not pushing for one, continues to work hard behind the scenes and in games, hence Eddie continuing to play him. Unless we get a daft offer I think he stays. There is simply too much to be done elsewhere and Gordon and Tino are away which will bring in plenty coin.

His agent is clearly pushing as he probably wants a pay day.

Tonali:  "You know, I'm pretty happy here. Getting paid a lot more than in Italy.  Fans seem to like me.  Club was good to me over the gambling thing. Wife quite likes it here."

Agent:  "Yeah, but what about me?"

He seems a really good lad, wife is absolutely lovely as well from what I’ve seen (I know). Hope they stay for another few years.

What do you know about his other agent, Ian. Tell her about your mate Mike.

He clearly wants out. Not very keen to keep players pushing for a move, respectfully or the Isak way.

You may suspect but it’s definitely not clear.

Can’t we just extend his contract by a year or two and sling the agent a fee to keep him sweet?

Agent doing the rounds. Can it not be any more obvious?

He’s not pushing for a move.
