nemtizz
Rating Botman ahead of Schar might be worse than preferring Varane.

midds
Charles De Ketelaere (on loan at Atalanta) has impressed me when I've watched them. Milan would want a fortune though presumably

54
Would anyone take a punt on someone like Morgan Whittaker? From what I've seen he looks like he could make the jump up, and could be a decent backup option.

Not sure who that player is though Expand Same here. I do think we miss a really commanding DM, but as has been said by others, there is a trade off with what you lose in technical ability in central areas if the players in there aren't really high level. Even Joelinton isn't a genuinely high class operator and can be loose with his first touch on the odd occasion.
LFEE
I see Kalvin Phillips got hooked at HT. Apparently had another mare. Not sure what people thought he’d bring to us after little to no game time for two years and even less hunger to achieve. Don’t wish ill on him as probably a nice lad but glad we never went near him. janpawel
I'm sure Onana has been linked with Arsenal, and I think Arteta has been unreal at building this Arsenal squad.. I take that as a good sign

We have serious issues Expand I don't think it's as simple as being a "backup", Eddie is on record saying he wants two starting XIs to pick from. That's why we have Tino (£40m), its why we spent £30m on Barnes six months after spending £40m on Gordon. I also don't think we'd make a move at £50m, but if Everton go down and/or end up in serious financial bother then we might fancy him for £10-20m less than that.
