NUFC Transfer Rumours

If the transfer window doesn’t end well, I can imagine internal finger pointing given the ‘power play’ earlier in the summer.

I assume Tonali replaces either Gallagher or McTominay once suspension passes?

Schar in for Gallagher or McTominay.

Gallagher would be a class signing. Even of he's a position we don't need.

Eddie's type of player, no doubt. More pressing concerns though.

There’d be no pressing concerns with Gallagher and Joelinton in midfield.

On the latest Athletic podcast Ornstein has a chat about us. Nothing new really, regurgitates info on Guehi and expects Bruno, Gordon and Isak to stay, with potential new contracts for the latter two.

Was expecting big things from Mitchell when he came in with his contacts.

Fuck me give him a chance man

Aye. Insanity lol

We simply can't do what the likes of Man City/Chealski did. We have our hands tied but you can bet we have the best people working on fixing that. It's just going to take time. Enjoy the ride. Half this place will be bored and apathetic in 10 years if we are winning things regularly.

Still, I'm sure we will retain some paranoia and impatience with time to moan!

The way I'm looking at this is, if waiting until the last week of the transfer window this summer saves us £10M (for arguments sake, £5M on Guehi deal and £5M on Madueke) then I'm 100% on board with that.

That £10M could well be the difference between us then being able to strengthen slightly in January OR not having to sell someone like Sanusi next summer to comply with PSR.

It's obvious we'll be bring another CB in, whether that's I Guehi or not, who knows yet.

We need a RW and RCB. Gallagher can fuck right off.

And if Longstaff is sold? (last year of contract now so not impossible to imagine). Gallagher would be an ideal replacement.

The writing off of Mitchell on here is nuts

When the emotions turn negative step one is having someone/something to blame

People got entitled so quickly after 22/23 (would be the same with most fanbases), someone on here said recently that the January window was the reason we didn’t qualify for Europe [emoji38] Like we didn’t barely scrape past PSR regs by offloading two players already, nah should have piled on and taken a bigger risk just to fail PSR by even more. Summer window always brings out nutty posts on here it’s great.

Big if that mind.

I imagine Longstaff will be staying and getting a three year contract extension and then he’ll just hang around as a back up after this year when we’re back in Europe
